Halloween Haunt 2022
The Haunt was back this year and was a resounding success! A special thank you to Lindsey Reichwald and her Voyage-Compass team for making this event a reality. Thanks also to our local Wilshire Vista volunteers, Hansen’s Cakes, and LAFD Station 68. Support for this event was provided by donations from our residents, from contributions by CD 10 and by Voyage-Compass Realty.
Halloween Haunt 2012
A Fantastic Fall Family event! The Children's Parade of Costumes is not to be missed! Costume Contest for Adults too. Sweet Bake Sale Table – our 'hood is filled with Chefs whose tasty treats surpass those you could find anywhere else! A Story Teller & Magician for the Little'uns. A local Garage Band; sonics you'll be glad you heard here, in your home patch, first! Have your picture taken in front of the coffin or in it! We have our own "local film/prop masters" to add to the "ghoulsome" atmosphere of a whole street closed for our spooktacular event. A glorious gather for one and all!
Neighborhood Spring Mixer 2011
Our annual June event, a big Welcome for our new residents and a renewal of connection for the rest of us. We hold a contest for the oldest, youngest, most recent and longest resident in the neighborhood, which is always a surprising treat. Our Mixer is a true Homecoming to the Neighborhood; Local merchants contribute product & services raffle items to announce and remind new + old what's local. Games for young and old and a Hansen's big sweet fruit filled sheet cake is always gone in 30 minutes! Come by and get to know us – it's your neighborhood now!
